Can’t be Wrong – The Jellybricks (2004)

Pennsylvania-based band, The Jellybricks, have twice been picked by Little Steven’s Underground Garage (Sirius/XM Radio Channel 21) for his ‘Coolest Song In the World’. First in 2012 for “Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide” from the EP SUCKERS, and again recently for “About The Weekend” from their upcoming release YOUNGSTOWN TUNE-UP.

For me, The Jellybricks song that highlights their Pop/Rock songwriting and tight sound goes back to 2004 with “Can’t Be Wrong” from their 3rd release POWER THIS. The synergy of solid drumming, backing vocal harmonies, and a killer staccato guitar rhythm through the verses, all make for a fun and energetic song capturing pop rock at it best. I love the tasteful, melodic guitar solo perfectly played to fit the song — So perfect why not add it again at the end and take the song out. Well Done!
